Things I Like About Christmas Time
1- Listening to Sufjan Steven's "Songs for Christmas"
2- SHOPPING, I can't get enough this year
3- Holiday Cheer (aka...Janae's homemade Limoncino liquor)
4- Spending the night at my parent's house on Christmas Eve
5- Telling young kids that Santa doesn't exist
6- Drinking wine with Memaw and Pepaw
7- Watching my niece open her Santa gifts
8- Less Traffic
9- This year, our house decor that Tahj put up
10- Working out extra to combat holiday pounds
I was joking on number 5. What things do you like about Christmas time?

too bad you were joking about number five. it made me laugh.
honestly, i don't like too much about christmas time. i could do without the music and decorations and shopping. i'm not sure why i have this aversion to the season. here's some of what i do like, though:
1. walking through neighborhoods when it's real late and everybody's in, and only a few houses still have their lights on.
2. "what child is this?" i love that song.
3. remembering christmases in tennessee when i still believed in santa.
i think that's it.
